Individual Agent of the Year Awards 

All categories are open to agents regardless of the sales channel in which they operate, including high street, homeworkers, call centre and online. Shortlisted agents in the Individual Agent award categories will be requested to attend an interview with an industry panel first week of May at Travel Weekly offices in central London.

Open to agents operating in any sales channel, including high street, call centre, online and from home. A shortlist will be invited to a appear before a judging panel.

Business Excellence Awards 

Open to any agent or agency operating on the high street, call centre, online or from home, which have been operating as a standalone business for less than 24 months on the deadline date of 08th April 2020. A shortlist will be judged by a panel of experts, at which point further detail/evidence may be requested.

Open to high street, call centre, online or homeworking agencies with more than 50 sales staff, which have successfully used digital channels to improve their business in the 12 months to 08 April 2020. A shortlist will be judged by a panel of experts, at which point further detail/evidence may be requested.


Please supply an initial entry of no more than 800 words (including links plus examples/attachments where relevant), explaining why your company should be considered for the award. Please include reference to channels utilised (including web, social and digital marketing), in addition to detail of direct results and ROI, innovation and overall strategy. Special Awards 

The ATAS Ambassador Award is open to agents in any sales channel, and is designed to celebrate an individual agent who is a true champion of the touring and adventure sector and ATAS . 

Please submit an entry of no more than 500 words (with supporting material if relevant), covering criteria including:

• Role within the business

• Specific responsibilities in relation to promotion and sales in the touring and adventure sector

• Sales performance (% and actuals) for the touring and adventure sector

• Support for ATAS and its supplier members

• New-business acquisition and future targets for the touring and adventure sector

Details of high performance and examples of excellence are required for consideration for the shortlist. Entries will be judged by a panel reflecting the breadth of the ATAS supplier membership.

CLIA is looking to recognise a CLIA member who has reached the ultimate level of accreditation at CLIA through the online CLIA Learning Academy. The winning travel agent will also be able to demonstrate that they can inspire other travel agents, and be a true ambassador for the industry.

Nominees should provide: Maximum 350 words written submission on: What it Means to be a CLIA Master, and what steps you have taken to share your knowledge and expertise with colleagues. A picture/ photo that you feel represents cruising.
